Goheadhunt Pty Ltd (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is an Australian technology company providing digital recruitment services through our web platform, designed for candidates and employers. We are committed to protecting the privacy of candidates and clients (employers) in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and ISO 27001 standards.

This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, store, and secure personal information from candidates and employers using our platform.


2. Collection of Personal Data

We may collect information about you when you use our platform. This data collection ensures an effective recruitment experience.

  • For Candidates: We collect personal information, including your name, contact details, qualifications, employment history, referees, and references. We may also collect sensitive information, such as identity verification documents, and may record your responses during virtual interviews.
  • For Employers: We collect business contact information and verification details to confirm your legitimacy as an employer.

  • Profile creation, registration, and job application submissions
  • Participation in virtual interviews (for candidates)
  • Communication with our support team

3. Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

We only use and disclose personal information for the purposes for which it was collected or as otherwise permitted by law. We will not share your data without consent unless required by legal authorities.

For Candidates:

  • Displaying your profile to registered and verified employers based on your visibility preferences
  • Processing interview recordings to enhance your job application
  • Verifying your identity to maintain a secure environment for all users

For Employers:

  • Authenticating your business for access to our candidate search platform
  • Managing your interactions with Goheadhunt and candidates as per our privacy commitments

4. Candidate Profile Privacy and Visibility

Candidates have control over the visibility of their profiles:

  • Open to all verified employers
  • Restricted to exclude specified employers
  • Visible only to selected employers

Employers can view candidate profiles and interview responses based on these preferences. Sensitive data (such as birth dates or exact addresses) is withheld unless explicitly agreed by the candidate.


5. Data Security and Retention

Goheadhunt stores all data securely on encrypted databases in compliance with ISO 27001 standards. We use security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls, to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or deletion of personal data.

Data Retention: We retain data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Upon request, data can be deleted per our Data Deletion Process.


6. Data Deletion Requests

Candidates and employers have the right to request the deletion of their data. Requests can be submitted via email to support@goheadhunt.com.au. Goheadhunt will complete deletion within the timeline specified in our SLA and provide confirmation.


7. Access to Personal Information

You may access, update, or correct your personal information through your account. If you encounter issues, please contact our support team.
